The following is some information on Traditional Reiki Treatments, which form the basis of my sessions.
REIKI (Pronounced Ray-key) Reiki Healin & Body Relaxation.
Reiki treatment follows a traditional pattern of hand positions, resting without pressure on or above the body. Reiki is pure energy, and brings about deep relaxation and healing.
Reiki, meaning "unversal life force energy" aims to improve health and enhance the quality of life. It treats the whole person inculding body, emotions, mind and spirit and creates many beneficial effects including
relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self improvement that everyone can use.Reiki will improve the results of all medical treatment, acting to reduce negative side effects, shorten healing time, reduce or eliminate pain, reduce stress, and help create optimism. During a Reiki treatment, the patient usually lies fully clothed on a padded table in a warm, comfortable room. A thorough session lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. For stress reduction one to two sessions are satisfactory, however for chronic conditions long-term treatment may be recommended. Due to its gentle nature, many people fall asleep during this soothing experience of healing.
Reiki Treatments
Individual Reiki Session- Sessions are available to experience the Reiki energy. In a complete Reiki treatment the major energycentres of the body are balanced to positively enhance your energy, to restore health and bring pure enjoyment of receiving. The recipient remains fully clothed at all times.
Reiki is an extreamely effective technique for total relaxation and stress relief. The gentle touch of Reikibenefits those experencing anxiety, hyperactivity, asthma and A,D,D, conditions as well as energising chronic fatigue sufferers. Reiki accelerates the body's ability to regenerate and can assist in the treament of cuts, burns and broken bones.
Reiki enhances mental clarity, self-esteem, inner peace and conscious awareness and brings greater positive balance and harmony to all aspects of our life. Most people experience a great sense of relaxation and joy during a session.
The Word Reiki Means Universal Life Energy
and it's made up of two Japanese characters, rei meaning universal and ki meaning life force. Reiki is a form of healing that works on the energy field that is within and around the body. Essentially, the practitioner or healer channels the energy from the universe into the person receiving the treatment and as such receives the healing energy themselves as well. It does not drain the healer in any way at all. It can be used for physical healing and it can also be used for stress reduction, relaxation and the renewal of energy. Reiki is gentle and non invasive but powerful.
